He has to be hiding something, right? Shifty bastard!
Definitely!
I wondered if he's got a funny looking neck. Has anyone ever seen Steve Jobs' neck in the same room as him. Hmm? Have they? :p

4.3 have my ipod4 screen flashing and it drain the battery fast from what i heard on iClarified?
Oh, so when you say it has bugs, you're simply repeating what you hear from others, not actually coming up with any sort of actual original thought based on personal experience? How very American of you.
LOL. Seriously. I have an iPad 2 ... no flickering or battery draining fast, you're actually the first I've heard of it.
My only "issue" with 4.3 is that it's still an iPad, and I'm getting sick of looking at this thing. I have a Xoom too and LOVE it... need to pick one or the other to go back to the store cause carrying both suck. I have a feeling the iPad is going back because I don't believe anyone's going to have a jailbreak for 4.3 in the next several weeks.

I have the ARC-1880i card so I can answer some of your questions
1. Setup. Very straightforward ARECA provides a web interface that is very reliable
2. Reliability. So far I had no problems, I cannot say the same for highpoint, with that card I already had 2 RAID 5 crashes. The areca is handling an array of 4 SSDs on RAID 0 (I perform daily backups for this one to a velociraptor)
3.I just flashed the EFI driver following NANOFROG's advice and with that I was able to boot from the SSD that look as a 480GB image to OS X
4.Cable setup. I have 2 SAS-SATA cables and was able to route them to the second ODD were I have the 4 SSD drives

Ambrosia Software (http://www.ambrosiasw.com) hosted a booth at this year's Macworld Expo to promote the some of their new and upcoming software titles for the Mac.
http://images.macrumors.com/article/2008/01/18/030034-ambrosia_500.jpg
Their most recent utility launch was of WireTap Studio (http://www.ambrosiasw.com/utilities/wiretap/) which we've previously previewed (http://www.macrumors.com/2007/09/13/exclusive-preview-ambrosia-softwares-wiretap-studio/) ahead of the official launch. WireTap Studio provides some unique tools for anyone who needs to record or manage audio on their Mac. LivePreview remains the most dramatic feature, allowing you to preview different audio encodings in real time to find the best balance of quality vs. size. I'd expect that podcasters in particular would have an interest in this $69 tool.
iToner (http://www.ambrosiasw.com/utilities/itoner/) is an easy-to-use $15 utility that allows you to convert existing songs (MP3, MP4, AIFF or WAV) into custom iPhone ringtones. The just-announced iPhone 1.1.3 firmware breaks iToner functionality, however, but Ambrosia tells us that version 1.0.6 of iToner is in beta testing and will address the iPhone 1.1.3 incompatibility.
http://images.macrumors.com/article/2008/01/18/030034-aquaria_500.jpg
Finally, Aquaria is a new game that Ambrosia will be releasing in "Q1 2008" which is a port of a PC game originally created by Bit Blot (http://www.bit-blot.com/). The PC version of the game was only recently released in December of 2007 and well received (http://pc.ign.com/articles/844/844673p1.html). Aquaria is described as an "action-oriented, non-linear side-scrolling game that uses an innovative and intuitive mouse control system". Pricing has not yet been announced, but downloadable demo will be available upon release.
Finally, Ambrosia is offering a 10% discount Macworld Special (http://www.ambrosiasw.com/mwsf/) on all products which remains good until January 31, 2008.

Apparently, for accounting reasons, they have to sell the update for $2 because they are adding functionality to products that have already shipped. (From the MacRumors front page)

Hey everyone!
What is the HTML tag for a comment box, I thought it was this:
<form action="/html/tags/html_form_tag_action. method="get">
Comments:</br>
<textarea rows="3" cols="20"></textarea>
<input type="submit" value="Submit" />
</form>
But it does not work when saved as .html. I think I need like a code page or something, but I do not know how to make one, any ideas?

Sony needs to make use of the already established and once popular "Walkman" name and make a real iPod competitor.
Now that brings back some nice memories ... Walkman, Discman, ... and Sony can make at times really nice designs.

Okay it works, downloaded it from Cydia and then with a SFTH client.
But it has to upload the files at the speed of my internet connection, which isn't blistering fast. Converting and then with iTunes would go faster.
Isn't there another way with which you can put the video's on the iPod with the cable?

KT, this is a winner.
It's not choppy. Well, it is choppy, but that's the point. If it weren't choppy, it wouldn't be nearly as funny. You foreground the convenience of narrative!
Right. By which I mean -- "We're good spies!"

I'd like to here from someone who's using it. It sounds good and I'm interested, but I don't have a mail client running right now, I go to the server via IE and get my email manually. I'm going to change this when I go to OSX, so it might be something I'll add in then.

well, maybe Microsoft will sell nicely priced Windows home and pro for packaging with Parrallels and as a coupon with boot camp.
anything is cheaper than the retail price.

Some of the processors will work with different boards. I've swapped CPUs around with different boards and not all of them worked with another. You can run a single processor on a dual processor board as long as it's in the upper slot. Swapping processors or Logic boards will require a thermal calibration. Do you have the Apple Serivce Diagnostics discs?
You should be able to use any 1.8ghz or 2.0ghz dual processor logic board. Make sure it has the same amount of memory slots.

But see, that's just it. If we're working back and forth on .docs and .xls's, we can't have ANY formating problems - they've got to match. AND I'm not going to jump through any hoops by using this or that piece of software to make it happen. Don't have time - gotta produce!
Well, MS Office is a piece of software, so you kind of still have to "use this or that piece of software". If you find NeoOffice/OpenOffice (they're the same thing - NeoOffice is java-based, and OpenOffice uses X11. The only difference is that NeoOffice is a little behind on versions) handles formatting fine, then use it, and you won't have problems.
And guess what, they're both free. So why don't you go and try them out. Who knows, they might surprise you.
