I've tried JetPhoto and it's a dream!
It's has a really nice client on the Mac that integrates with iPhoto and, once set up, gives one click uploading via FTP. The server is a simple PHP script.
It offers some very nice goodies like a flash gallery, a choice of themes and GPS technology integration.
Oh ... and it's free.

My Ti laptop is driving me crazy. I've got the Finder prefs set to open all windows in column view and yet, every fourth or fifth time I double click on the drive icon on the desktop, the window opens up in icon view. I switch it back to column view and it's fine for a while and then, poof!, it's back in icon view when I double-click the drive icon again.
I use Macaroni to regularly repair permissions and I've experienced no other strangeness, just this.
Any idea what's going on?

So, I tried to use iFile to edit, but when I navigate to the general.plist file, I can;t do anything. If I open it, I see a couple of values, but nothing like what is shown. This is directly on the iPad. I also have iPhone explorer on my desktop and I can't open the file there either.
When you click it, there should be an option to edit as either a plist or as text. I couldn't find the proper key when I edited as plist, so just do text. The easier way might just be to download the files from the link and copy them over to the Preferences.app via iPhone Explorer, iFunBox, Cyberduck, etc.
Great find OP BTW!
Edit:
This is the one I used. It has links to the files to just download

I notice in the Intel documentation, that the 320 supports AES-128 encryption, with use of an *ATA* password... and it specifically mentions 'PC'. I'm not finding many details about using this with MacOS
Does anyone know if the encryption will work with an EFI or other Mac password?
Is anyone running one of these on MacOS, encrypted?

thanks for the hints!
shipping might take a bit, because I live in Germany.
I went for Stealth Guards (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=997633)
hopefully it arrives before the new Touch does ;)

It's cute that people think Comex actually ever made a working Jailbreak for iPad 2.
I wish I could photoshop my way to 200k followers on Twitter.

An interesting and for me a most welcome example @Steviem, since I'm just starting to learn the very basics of AP3. Therefore I have some practical questions about the way you organize your hirarchy:
1) Any reason why you don't use 'albums' in the maps and/or projects '09/'10, instead of the numbered (sub)maps you keep using for these years?
2) Why do you use numbers in these (sub)maps and projects, instead of giving a name for identification about what's in them ("Travel", "Country", "Family" and the like)? It was my presumption that this kind of naming was one of the strongest arguments for adopting Aperture.

My sister has it, I'm aware it's "heavier" but only by about 1/4 of a lb... don't be dramatic, the old iPad that you LOVED was way way heavier. This is still barely heavier than iPad 2.
Xoom 2 will debut real soon? Xoom WiFi came out THREE DAYS AGO, lol. You're clearly not up to date with the Xoom.
And show me ANY evidence that there's an 8.9 or 10.1 iPad coming out... jeez, you just spout sh@$ out your a@$
I'm talking about the samsung 10.1 and 8.9 that was revamped due to the iPad 2. That makes the xoom the biggest tab in the game. The wifi version was already being released and most likely made, so they had to ship them. I wouldn't doubt a xoom 2 being announced by end of summer.
If I mention 10.1 and 8.9 and you relate that to an iPad, with all the talk of the new sam tabs, you obviously have no clue what's going on, but I digress.

I need more wired ethernet ports for my Airport Extreme, is there any kind of add on or device that I can use to add more wired ports?

Virtual ][ (http://www.virtualii.com/) - Apple II, II+, IIe emulator; has a very refined user interface. Free to try, with a timed nag screen.
Sweet 16 (http://www.sheppyware.net/software-mac/sweet16/index.html) - Apple IIgs emulator; simple to use user interface; free to use.
GSport (http://gsport.sourceforge.net/) - Apple IIgs emulator; Unix-like user experience on OSX, hand-editing configuration files and all. Open source, free to use.
All will require you to supply ROM files.

Try with =ROUND(A1;1)*6-1 and the problem is gone. ;)
That's true. But which spreadsheet user is aware of this? This should be resolved by the app, not by the user.

More info required: When you scroll to the bottom of the Cydia front page, what does the version number say? 1.0.3222-73? And are the apps you got in Cydia still there? Can you add a repository to Cydia? Do you have iFile and SSH? And you aren't using any cracked apps, are you?
i do have ifile and ssh and i will check on other stuff. no cracked apps but what would that do with it?

There is no special license required to accept credit cards. Most larger vendors require successfully passing a personal credit check. Doesn't matter about the business credit - they want to check your personal credit. Intuit is one such vendor. I have my clients use Square. It is simple to set up, doesn't require invasive personal credit checks (which many people feel is discriminatory) and is easy to use. It does have its pitfalls however. And those pitfalls may make or break a business from using Square.
A cart system would be efficient in this case but I hesitate to recommend using PayPal. You can do your own research on the horrors of PayPal but I can tell from first hand experience PayPal was a good thing in the 90's but they have morphed into a beast of horrors. They are notorious for shutting down your account and hold funds for 180 days or longer. The only explanation is that your are considered high risk.
I have set up many payment systems for clients but would never ever use PayPal. But it's your choice. I am sure there are PayPal fans here on the forum that will scratch their back. Not me.
Hope this helps.

You could do without the RAID-card altogether and just install 4 drives in the bays in the Mac Pro and use the ZFS filesystem (http://code.google.com/p/maczfs/) to make a dynamic stripe in RAID-Z, so you will get RAID-5 like performance but with better protection and data integrity.
Unfortunately, Apple ditched their development on ZFS, so no ZFS love for the Mac Pro and OS X.
If you chose FreeBSD or OpenSolaris, there is little point in buying a Pro in the first place as you can get better boxes for less for that kind of requirement.

Are there any Apple ][ emulators that work on Mac OSX Snow Leopard (preferrably free) and are reasonably uncomplicated to use/set up?
The ones I've come across either don't work (OSX II (http://www.intergalactic.de/pages/OSXII.html) seemed promising, but I can't find any system ROMs that work with it -even the ones suggested in the readme file don't work). Other emulators such as Catakig (http://catakig.sourceforge.net/) don't seem to work either (the disks don't load) although the system ROMs seem to be accepted.

I'm still wondering how in the hell they are paying for all these free services offered to 10's of thousands of members (inc. me :D)...it just baffles me
i doubt they automatically set aside 1gb of space. i bet each user only uses as much space on the server as info they have on it. if a user signs up and never uses the service, only a few bytes are used, not a full gig.

Flickr already stores location information for photos - not GPS-based, but you can browse maps and assign pictures to a specific location where you took them, and then search/browse all users shared photos by location. I could see iPhoto doing something similar, with the add-in of recognizing GPS data.

But I do like the look of the sequel to Rez, looks pretty fun.
Yeah I have my eye on that one too. The Dance Central game is a quality launch title, unfortunately it requires moving the coffee table and just that one small task dooms its frequent use.

Yeah, "working on finishing" is very different from "putting on the finishing touches."
