When I "geotagged" all of my photos last year, I couldn't find an automatic way to do this within Aperture. I'm sure that there are a few perl (or similar) solutions out there but that would (likely) require a re-import. That was a deal breaker for me so I just went through them manually. It wasn't that difficult. I got through roughly 20,000 photos in just a few hours.
I created a Smart Album for all of my "Untagged" images. I keep it around for maintenance of my geotags now. There is also an Album called "Unknown Locations" in my "GPS Albums" folder. Any image that I don't know the origin of goes into this folder (this keeps it out of my "Untagged" Smart Album). When I was going through in mass, I just kept my "Untagged" album sorted by date and hit them top to bottom using the Places view. Most of my images could be tagged 30, 40 or even 100+ at a time.

Yonah is more expensive than the G4.
iBooks will feature integrated graphics guaranteed. They already have OsX running on the Intel 915 chipset in developer macs. Most cheaper laptops use the same chipset. Apple have no reason not to use it in the iBook. It's a budget product to them.
This will create an immediate differential with the powerbook which will end up using a seperate gfx card.
Don't expect prices to much different across all product lines than they are now. Apple didn't switch to intel because they are cheaper (the new processors aren't) they did so because IBM couldn't keep up with theyre predicted roadmap.

Does that mean that VirtualPC is now abandonware and can be distributed freely?
Doubt it. This is Microsoft remember. Also, I think it is still going to get sold for PPC, it's just they no longer plan a Intel/Universal build of it.
Give it up to when it is no longer available to buy for PPC then it becomes abandonware I believe.

You are basically moving the bandwidth requirements to another server. It depends on what the second host allows.

I got back to my fraternity house after my morning class just before the plane hit the second tower. There was a lot of confusion - 25 people crowded around the TV, trying to figure out what was going on. All anyone knew was that one of the WTC Towers was smoldering. And as we watched, the second plane hit.
I go to school in upstate NY, so there were a lot of frantic phone calls that went unreturned over the next minutes and hours. Some eventually got through. Some were never returned.

Im deciding on new speakers for my iPod, which will also be streaming music from my Airport Express when not playing music from my iPod.

Can anyone help me decide?

Well, gaming through VPC is so bad it's practially a contradiction in terms.
If you hinge you switch on gaming, that's a tough sell.
However, there are many games available for the Mac natively. How about you poke around on Apple's site and other game manufacturer to see if there is a native version before you make your decision.
Yes, there are more games for PC, but Macs usually get the best of breed of those. This could be a non-issue.

Coleman, how does that help us if we have V1.1? It doesn't ;(. What we need is a cracked V1.0.
LOL I know but I can't strip the DRM since my iPad isn't jail broken. Either we find someone with 1.0 on a jail broklen iPad or we wait until an iPad 2 jail break comes out for me to upload it.

I'm in the front of the line at the Deer Park store, can I expect anyone else? :p
Edit 3:15 : still no one else, but they gave me an extension cord to charge my laptop.
Edit 4:15 : about 4 more people in line, 4:15
Edit 4:40 : Geniuses are installing Leopard!

Wouldnt go so far as to say we're no where close because geohot doesnt own an ipad 2. You think he's owned all of the other idevices he's jailbroken and unlocked? comex jailbroke his ipad 2 and he wasnt even in the US or remotely close to his ipad 2. If geohot is truly on the case, all he will probably need is the exploit comex used and he'll likely have no problem dumping the bootrom. With all his latest issues with sony, I'd bet he's more than ready for a positive comeback and more donation money :) not saying that he does it for money so dont start whinin. jus sayin
I not whining, but I'm not deluding myself either. How many tweets and news postings have we read about the 02.10.04 unlock?? We read it was coming out after the one for 3GS, then we read they were waiting for 4.2, then we read hasim had discovered nice baseband crashes, then we read about brute forcing the nik, and then guess what?? Still NO bands and unlock!!!! and these we're tweets from Muscle Nerd and others. The only real unlock came in the form of hardware solutions or the factory unlock solutions, something no one would have imagined would have come out before the dev-teams release.
And Comex's jailbreak was a user land one, so I doubt that would help with a boot rom exploit, so ****.

Hey, I want to be first in line for leopard at my apple store, so im wondering when you all plan to get in line at your various stores.

There's already a thread started about it, but not a whole lot of people are talking for whatever reason...

I was going to wait at the Apple Store that day, but thought that by the time I got there the line would be too long and they would run out, so I went to an AT&T store close by to get the iPhone. I did run by the Apple Store around 10pm that same evening and found out that they had more than enough phones to go around.
I heard the line was insanely long that day, but was managed well and it didn't take long to get all those people in and out of the store with their new toy...I'm sure next Friday will be the same way depending on how many people are going to buy a new Mac the same day as well.
It's going to be interesting. :)

And in Perl, you can run this directly from Mac OS X Terminal:
perl -e '$j = 0.2; $k = 6; for ($i = 0; $i < 30; $i++) { $j = $k * $j - 1; print $j . " "; }'
It is just one of a handful of ways that show that if you don't think when you program a function then you can end up with something that doesn't work simply because of limitations within floating point units within computers today. One solution is to use decimal mathematics for decimal numbers (the other being to think about your algorithm to increase numerical accuracy). This is quite slow (relatively) on processors without decimal hardware, however the forthcoming Power6 does incorporate a decimal mathematics unit, that can handle 36 digit numbers according to the new IEEE 754R standard:

Java includes a decimal mathematics class:
import java.math.BigDecimal;
public class Decimal
{
perl -e '$j = 0.2; $k = 6; for ($i = 0; $i < 30; $i++) { $j = $k * $j - 1; print $j . " "; }'

I cannot wait for it to come out.
Shining Down is definitely one of his best songs, and it's going to be on LASERS.
I have a question though, what's going on with LupE.N.D? That was his trilogy album release that's supposed to come out after LASERS right?
