When an app is rejected by Apple's App Store review process, do they tell you all the issues that's wrong with the app? Or do they stop after finding the first issue that's wrong?

I wonder how these companies got access to Apple's database. Why doesn't Apple keep better watch on it? And couldn't Apple just find out who's been accessing the database, and not allow connections from that source anymore? This all seems shady to me.
I imagine the process goes through a carrier outside of the US because many countries and carriers offer unlocks for their iPhone customers.
Possibly. But last time I was involved with that process, IMEIs had to be sent to Apple by Fax. Carriers never had access to an Apple Database at that point. Then again, this may have changed.

What kind of TV? The better the resolution, the hard the Mini will have to work to power it, the the worse it will look.
Does the TV has HDMI, DVI, VGA, Component, Composite or S-Video inputs?(Or if your out side of the US, I know there are a few other inputs, I just don't know there names)
Edit- I now see its an HDTV...what kind of HD? 720p, 1080i or 1080p? I'd go with HDMI, DVI or VGA(in that order) if your TV has those inputs

reports are indicating that the remaining lineup of macs will be refreshed within the next couple months.
Not knowing when is that "next couple months" is very painful... :(
They better not, I just bought mine 3 days ago!
You should've read the buyer's guide page first.
This will be my first MAC too.
The macbook should be updating soon but I personally would rather develop on a macbook air rather than a macbook. Only problem depending on how much code you have to write is the small screen with the entry level macbook air.
The reason I would rather develop on a macbook air is simply because it runs mundane tasks at a much higher speed than the macbook. I would assume you are going to use xcode which does not take much cpu power but it does take a use a significant amount of Hard drive usage.
If you do get an air make sure to buy the 4GB of ram as it is not user upgradable.
I agree with the small screen.
Even though I'm always "on the go" but small screen will not be so convenient.
After re-thinking my decision I end up ordering a Macbook Pro instead, the cheapest I can get plus I'm eligible for Education discount since I'm a university student. :D

What? how were we talking about how cool we are?
lol i'm jk with you guys.
Anyway, I just called up the University Village apple store, and asked what happened last year and if they had alot of pre orders. He said people camped out overnight last year AND that the number of preorders was pretty substantial (whatever that means). He guaranteed that there would be a phone with my name on it but also said its first come first serve, of course this means the pre orders go first then the common folk.

They did bring back the Sony Walkman and it was DOA. Lots of models with no one wanting to buy them. It was a big strategy for them. Sony doesn't know how to market things anymore. Actually, Sony doesn't know how to design things anymore either.

Sony can't even protect their successful products anymore. Look at the upcoming disaster with the PS3 and LG.
Never wanted a Zune, but having one less music player would lessen the competition a bit.

For some reason, when the hard drives in Powermac G5s die, it causes weird things to happen to the rest of the machine.
Rule of thumb for every old or used mac
ALWAYS PUT IN A BRAND NEW HARD DRIVE.
You won't be sorry. But especially in Powermac G5s.

4 drives:
320 Gig WD Raptor (10,000 rpm) as system drive
1 Tb (7200 rpm) for iPhoto
1 Tb (7200 rpm) for iTunes/video
other external HD for backups, etc...
Have 5 of RAM in there now (2-2-1-0).
So was initially looking to upgrade RAM, but then thought maybe SSD could be more bang for the buck. But if my bottleneck is the iPhoto drive I think simply upgrading my system drive to SSD might not get me as far...

Maybe someone here can shed some light on this problem. I am using DP2 and for some reason, preview wont forget files after they've been closed. All of the files in the list have been closed, but for some reason, they are still displayed in this list after they've been closed. I can click on them and they open like they were just minimized. Any ideas what could be going on here?

I'm right there with you on this one. Please add some more inputs. HDMI!
Yeah! Or change their names back to "Studio" Displays because Cinema indicates I can watch some films on this thing - yet it can't even hook up to a :apple:tv/PS3! :p

yeah I saw that earlier...if they can get some sweet games on there then it might be some viable competition! i wonder what the specs are?
1GHz Qualcomm MSM8655
512MB of RAM
1GB of ROM
~4" Screen
Word is that it'll have a PSP Marketplace for games (in addition to the Android Marketplace) - and I'll guess the ribbon ui will be incorporated somehow.

I suggest that you install tinyumbrella, and run it. It will back up your SHSH blobs and show you what options you actually have....

I've ordered it and will see if it suits my need. You're right, with all of my searching, and I've been searching, for some reason, I did not search enough!
After I try it, I'll report further.

No worries, I was just busting balls...slow day at work.
I have a couple friends with this (want one bad, but I'm too cheap) and it's THE best in-car cradle I've ever used. You won't be disappointed. Note: you have to use the charger plug washer supplied to be sturdy, plug a 3.5mm cable from your stereo to the base of the cradle and the cable from the mount to your iphone's 3.5mm jack for aux to work. Also, wrap the cable that goes from the mount to the iphone to the back of the mount to reduce excess cable hanging. You'll know what I mean when you're setting up the unit.
I'm actually surprised this unit isn't recommanded more often on this forum.
Edit - the FM version/function is complete garbage. Don't bother with it.

If they really do discontinue the 12" and do not replace it, there just might be a price drop.

i did try setting compatibility mode in windows xp, it runs but its sort of buggy and crashes often, i would imagine it would be buggy under windows 7 too.
Parallels and vmware are too expensive for me, virtualbox is free but win98 runs very slowly and doesnt support guest additions, not to mention it crashes whenever vt-x is enabled
any other ideas? :)

Heh, after reading another thread I just thought of something else. Don't get too hung up on numbers. A couple of my favorite images were taken with a pinhole camera. Talk about anti-dpi: just a cardboard box, a piece of photo paper and sheet of copper with a tiny pinhole poked into it. One picture of a kitten has a nice, soft and etherial quality to it. Another taken down the length of a bleacher has almost limitless depth of field.
Even at 50MP it would be difficult to reproduce either of these images yet I still enjoy looking at them.

Here (http://static.simpledesktops.com/desktops/2010/03/25/amp.png) is a link to the wallpaper :)
I like my desktop like I like my desk top - clean. I use Quicksilver and Spotlight religiously. Hotkeys are beautiful.
Menubar Applications:
- Quicksilver for application launching
- Dropbox for file project sharing
- iMOnTime for assignment and project reminders
- Caffeine to keep my screen awake
- Shion for controlling the lights in my room
- Facebook Notifications for...Facebook...notifications
- Screensharing Monitor (turned on temporarily, forgot to turn off)
You were invited to Rockmelt?
I am still waiting... :(

Does anyone have a facebook fan page set up for your photography? I never really considered setting one up before. Just figured the website would be sufficient, and email for receiving messages and etc. But, today, on a whim I went for it and set up an artist page. It's actually quite interesting, and a whole different experience from maintaining your normal photography site. Actually, since I'm in the beginning stages of a new site design, which will essentially be a restructuring from the ground up for how it is utilized, do you think it is best to leave the interaction side of things to facebook and let the website be more of a deep archive of the work, resume, etc?
If you're interested in checking out the fb artist page I set up, which actually includes in progress images of new work I'm putting together, it can be found at http://www.facebook.com/andybloxhamimagery
