When we say "enough" and "runs fine" we are thinking of apps that require minimal standards. Man, when we are talking about at least quality games such as WoW, SC2, and MMO's, the difference between 320m and the Intel GPU is the difference between "playable and not playable"
my mbp 13" i5 plays those games just fine.

No, I read that the show actually generates around $160m per year for ABC through advertisers.
You may not like him, but I suppose he is underpaid for the money he can generate...
Oh, and Youtube clip of the Tiger blood/Sinatra/"Dying is for Amateurs"/"I'm bi-winning" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7BZA5bOZ6To) interview. :p

if it happens this is a typical attemp by microsoft to copy the tactics of another company, put loads of money into marketing and bring about nothing innovative. great but i know who'd id rather give my money to.
if it doesnt play cool games, you'll know they blindly copied apple mistakes also.

To work well it needs to contain all your apps and system files. For most people this means at least 100GB these days. Shockingly when I got my MBP in 2008 I thought a 200 GB drive would do it all for me. That really didn't last long at all.
Out of the factory, all the system files and bundled apps take up about 20GB. I can't imagine many people then install an addition 80GB worth of apps. If you're using up that sort of space, I'm guessing you're storing a fair bit of video.
My own personal setup is 128 GB SSD for current work. Old stuff gets archived to an external 2TB HD. It works for me.

Guys, which one should I get?
I've been trying to score an iPad2 and now here comes the new ix.Mac.MarketingName, which sounds awesome! So between this and iPad2, ATV2, Air, MBP, iPhone, Mac Pro, Nano and iMac, what should I get?
Mostly I would use this for web surfing and light photo editing, but it also needs to dry laundry and serve as daily transportation for my 8 mile commute. But, I'm worried the new ix.Mac.MarketingName requires Z-rated tires, which are quite expensive. I'm also curious whether, with the right apps, the ix.Mac.MarketingName can serve as a prophylactic or if it's better to have a dedicated device for that.
So, whaddya think? What other ix.Mac.MarketingName rumors have you heard? :apple:
Why would you want one? Apple is once again using outdated tech for ix.MMN. The specs on everything else are so much better. And I'm so tired of the ix.MMN Closed Garden.

Confirmed by another OEM white iPhone owner.
https://twitter.com/mrkrazy1870/status/63719171464249344
Then the aftermarket replacement back manufacturers have actually known all along. Ha! And I thought my yellow and white backs were thicker (and wouldn't fit with all my cases) because they were cheap.

No one will know that until they try installing Windows on a VM.
And, yes, the detection of a VM is simple, given a handful of VM vendors: just look for the VM "hardware" signatures they use. On activation, if any matching hardware is found, pop up a dialog stating "This license of Windows is not applicable to a virtual machine, such as <Parallels or VMWare or Virtual PC>. Activation failed. Please see www.microsoft.com/suckyoudry to enhance your license to allow activation on this virtual machine."
That is precisely what Activation is for: detecting invalid hardware (usually, hardware on which this copy of Windows was not activated, but in thi case also VM hardware) and stopping full use of the product on it. We can't say for certain that they will do this until it happens or someone from MS breaks the code of silence regarding this issue. But they certainly have the means to do it.
If this is true, why did Microsoft used to sell me Virtual PC with a version of XP Pro? I could clone that instance of XP Pro also several times and run them in // (altough very slow since emulated)

I think it's just a mistranslation of the speaker's first language.
So he attends at university since fall (so since september) and studies Commerce. Yet he thinks this rumor is part of a leaked advertisement and cannot comprehend why it is advertised like that.
Well, that's what I get from it anyways...
It was spam, the spammer used some text to give the post the illusion of making a valid post (this time the text was pretty random) however the post also contained a signature with spam links.

What product will the T-Mobile chic bash now???
You know how fickle women can be, so does it really matter?!
Oops, just made somebody's hit list. Let me rephrase that...
As a woman, the T-Mobile "chic" has the right to change her mind! Thus probably will bash Android Fragmentation! :D

Bunch of lying crap.
Thanks for calling me a liar. My date moved, without explanation, as quoted in the story. The only thing I can personally think of is dropping a third line from the family plan. Other than that, and thanks to autopay, my bill for the remaining two iPhones on the plan is rather expensive, and always paid in full and on time, so the other argument is invalid as well.

After really looking at the photo, either Micro**** literally gave the 3G iPod plastic surgery or that is completely Photoshopped. It is SO similar to the 3G iPod with added ugliness to make it Genuine Micro****.
I think you're giving the design too much credit. I wonder how that silver disc is even operated

Also, the first MBA didn't have it, and they introduced it in the B revision. So they have been able to squeeze it in before where they weren't initially.
It would be a nice selling point for the upgraded model (as opposed to the base model), same as they did with the PowerBook for a while.
Not True. The first MBA DID have it.
This ... from ZDNet:
"The worst part about the backlight’s omission is that the original MacBook Air (circa 2008) had a keyboard backlight. Obviously, there’s no technical reason that it couldn’t be done, so why did Apple drop it from the 2010 MBA?
It can’t be a price issue. How much does a keyboard backlight LED cost in Apple quantities? A dollar? You can’t make the case for battery life either, because it’s easily turned off in System Preferences.
So why did Apple really drop the keyboard backlight in the new MBA? Planned obsolescence, my friend. How much do you want to bet that the 2011 model has a keyboard backlight?"

Reports indicate that ... Front Row are exactly the same as the Tiger versions, suggesting that unannounced improvements could be in store for them by Leopard's final release.
Hmmm, why would an update of Front Row be deemed top secret...
Could this suggest that the mythical iHome might be coming soon?
