NetBeans is pretty good, but is a bit of bloat. It will show warnings and errors in your files while editing them just like when programming Java. Personally though I just use a text editor (BBEdit), then as mentioned browser tools like Firebug can be great for debugging things.

The photos will be different, but the shutter sound, sounds the same. It seems like it takes the same amount of time to take each photo.

Lockbox is good because it stores all your passwords and information.
Pandora is amazing for music. Crackle is cool for movies. Shazam is helpful for music too.
Angry Birds (all 3), Plants vs. Zombies, Fruit Ninja, Mega Jump, Tiny Wings, Bloons Tower Defense 4.
Flixster is good for movies, yelp is good for restaurants. Whatsapp is a nice messaging app. Alarm clock is self explanatory, groupie is a cool social networking app along with skype. Otherwise it is all your preference. I recommend browsing the top lists for each category and going from there.

If they don't keep FaceTime open to non-iOS mobile devices and non-OS X devices, FaceTime will be dead in the water if it isn't already.

I was studying for a test the next day. My mate came running up the stairs of our flat and said "Screw the studying guys, the world's just come to an end!". We ended up spending the rest of the day watching the news.

It looks like the Mac book pro's will get sandy bridge first. Probably a few months afterwards but there is no set date. Since the mini uses laptop parts, I'll be looking at performance of these. Should be pretty close.

I like the idea of the air but I wouldn't touch one until they get a modern CPU in there. Core 2 Duo doesn't cut it in 2011.

Many of them will have inhouse teams to develop their bits and pieces.
Considering lead and production times, I would have also thought that large-scale holiday-specific artwork production would need to be signed off in June-August in order to accommodate any special repro processes and finishing... and then getting product to point of sale.
So, if this idea appeals to you, try aiming for next year and put together a lo-res sample sheet to try some cold calls with... but don't get your hopes up, there could be other more productive and lucrative ways to further your career.

So use some of the 185 sources listed at the bottom of Apple's Wikipedia page.
Alternatively, ask what the point of this particular assignment is. Your class's assignments could all be done by your professor in about 5 minutes each; "History of [company]".
bingo. That is the correct way to use Wiki. While wiki can not be used as a source it is a great way to find sources for said project.

Yes, cmd-x is cut.
I'm not sure if it works however on folders and files. It's good for just text, images, etc.

This has NOTHING to do with being out of contract. Please stop spreading this myth.
When you buy an iPhone you buy it WITH a two year contract. Whether you use it or other networks or not has nothing to do with ATT getting their subsidy money.
That's why I'm saying that they're going to soon be offering official unlocks for AT&T iPhones. They already offer them for ANY GSM phone that they sell once a subsidy contract has ended. At that point, you have paid them more than the full amount of the phone's value and you actually own the phone. They should offer an unlock for iPhones that are out of contract, just like they do for any other GSM phone they offer.

That's a pretty slow HDD to begin with, maybe not 20MB/s slow, but my 7200 RPM 320GB drive gets around 70-75MB/s, which should be considerably faster than a 160GB 5400, due to both rotational speed and data density. You may just have a slowly dying HDD, so it may be a good time to upgrade it.

Just a couple of thoughts (background... I shoot a 5DII, have 750GB of images, and have a MacPro with 6.5TB of internal storage + external no-caddy drive bays for backups).
Don't buy 350/500GB drives. They're older technology, and they're no longer the most cost effective in terms of GB/$.
The sweet spot for GB/$ is in the larger disks - 1TB to 2TB - and these disks will also be faster, as the data is packed tighter on the disk surface. You'll read more bits off the platter for every disk revolution.
Make sure you have a good backup strategy in place - and design that from the very beginning. Back up to external drives and try and keep a copy offsite. I also use an internal partition as a TimeMachine disk - just for my boot drive.
Edit. Oh yes... one more thing. RAID IS NOT A BACKUP... and don't trust anyone who tells you it is. RAID will ONLY protect you against disk crashes, NOT against accidental deletion, theft, water damage, electrical glitches, virus action, fire, accidental damage which together are more likely than a disk crash. To be safe, you need three copies of data, one of which should be in a separate location.
Another HDD space junkie! :D I will buy 1 or 2 TB drives for the Mac Pro. However, what if I buy 1 TB drives and they puke before I fill them up? I am not being a smart @@S, just asking a legitimate question, as that scenario is my only concern. Also, thanks for clarifying that RAID is not for backup. my good friend uses RAID to backup, but he never writes to his drives, only reads. They are for storing tons of movies and games. Off-site storage is a big deal with photographers and I understand the benefits, but I never would have added 1+1. LOL
I am still thinking about my backup plan, but I have plenty of options thanks to the photographer community! As I stated in my last reply, I will clear my mind this weekend and in all likelihood, order a new Mac Pro 8 core soon.

The Airs look really tempting (once Lion comes out, not much point at the moment for me).
However I see comments about it not being great for the 'heavy lifting' jobs. I don't do much processor intensive stuff, but on my '08 MacBook, iPhoto sometimes takes a while and exporting an hours movie from iMovie it can slug quite a bit.
How do the Airs cope with these kind of tasks?

I've tried JetPhoto and it's a dream!
It's has a really nice client on the Mac that integrates with iPhoto and, once set up, gives one click uploading via FTP. The server is a simple PHP script.
It offers some very nice goodies like a flash gallery, a choice of themes and GPS technology integration.
Oh ... and it's free.

I think they're talking about Lupe Fiasco. Quite possibly the most overrated lyricist of all time.
