I went to get a new motherboard today at a local computer shop.
I asked for a motherboard that supports AM2+ the two computer people behind the front desk looked at me and said ok.
The one lady says AM2 is the brand of the processor, and that it must have some number to it.
I then asked for a motherboard with the Amd 890X Southbridge. And the lady then said the what?
I said the chipset, she then replied, " Oh yeah some motherboards have co processors that are called chipsets that you could replace.
(Are you kidding me!)
Anyways to end this rant they tried to sell me a Asus motherboard for $120 which I found online for $60, and another motherboard from Asus running the Amd 890X chipset for $190. Which I also found online for $100.
Crazy!
They don't have a clue what they are talking about, and they are extremely overpriced.
Step above scam artists.
Though they were nice enough to print off the spec sheets with the price for me.

Mac OS isn't Microsoft Windows so it's best to adopt the Mac ways. Learn to use "drag and drop" which is implemented much better in Mac OS than Microsoft Windows. Folders spring open which helps navigating to the destination, however you can also drag to the desktop and then drag from the desktop to the destination. If you are moving a group of files, they will stay grouped on the desktop and don't have to be reselected.

A good spy would've eliminated the cat. I'd rank you guys as "James Bond villain" rather than "Super Spys." :D
:(
But I love my kitty! He weighs about 20 pounds and likes to sit on my keyboard while I'm typing!
and you don't know what happened to the cat after the camera turned off.
Yeah, I could've not given him kitty treats or something.
That's a brutal punishment!
Ah, and thanks, y'all. Three year olds are not good actors or spies.:D
18 year old girls are no different at actor and spy proficiency. :o

There are still two problems:
1) While Pages and Keynote may be exported to Word and Powerpoint, it is not flawless. When working with word documents and presentations small changes may not matter significantly, but when dealing with numbers, there is ZERO room for error.
2) Pages and Keynote (and it seems the "Lasso") are all targeted at the non-experienced computer user. Unfortunately, for the most part, that is the exact opposite audience who use spreadsheets.
Oy veh. Do I ever dislike hearing remarks like this.
1) As has been pointed out probably a hundred times before, document exchange even between different versions of Word is not "flawless."
2) While you're at it, you might as well say that the Mac is "targeted at the non-experienced computer user." A lot of people do, you know. That's what you get for making it easier to use, right?

That blinking amber light (steady power light, yes?) means there is a cartridge error.
You said you replaced the ink cartridges, by that I guess you mean the ink tanks? Do you have a spare cartridge (tank holder and print head assembly) to test? I have the same problem with my 2500, and I have a vague idea that I once had two cartridges, but where the second one went is beyond me.
Yes. This is what I recall. The only other possibility is ink on the gold contacts on the side of the print head or the gold contacts they make contact with in the carriage holder.

Yeah. You had any luck? How much are you making per iPad? Maybe pm me if you don't
Mind
For some reason it is not giving me the option to send you a private message, but I have sold all the iPads I have bought except for the one I kept for myself. Also I have people that are still calling me and shouldn't have any trouble selling a lot more. On eBay they are going for a lot internationally, but I don't like all the hassle of eBay even for double the price.

The big news today as far as I can tell is that Steve went with a collared shirt instead of a mock neck; continues to shun belts.
I can't get excited about iPods. A 12" screened device that can play movies, CDs, DVDs, and run office software - yes, an ultraportable laptop would be useful.

Really no need for the DI to be active if it's for a guitar. Just get a passive one.

awesome, you guys are great help. But don't I have to pay for OS 9.0? I don't want to buy an out-of-date OS just to delete it when I upgrade to OS X...
but I'll look around Apple.com
Thanks

Does anyone know if such instructions exist for the Time Warner TV app?
You can try it and see. In theory it should work.

Would it be better t o try and do this off of a memory stick? How many gigs would I need?
By games I'm talking about mostly casual games with small clients and low GPU usage...
Memory stick is still USB so it would still be contrained and probably not perform well.
I have Windows 7 Ultimate in 11 gig as I recall using Parallels. Not a whole lot of space. You'll need much more if you will run games.

The reason they are working is because the iMac is authorized for all of those accounts under (Store>Authorize this Computer).
I created a brand new Apple ID on another mac, downloaded a free app and copied it to the iMac in my wife's itunes account. The only way I could get the app to load on the iPad was to authorize the iMac to that new Apple ID. If I deauthorize it the app gets deleted on next sync.
kalex - are you working on an iPad 1 or 2 and is it JB?
Mine is not JB
When you did this with your friends iPad is that computer authorized to your apple ID?
Is it possible that some free apps don't enforce the DRM somehow?
I am feeling that this may not work after all:(
