Not for nothing unless the dev-team makes an explicit statement of releases like muscle nerd usually does, most of those sites and "news postings" are usually wrong. All we know at this point is that geohot doesn't even own an iPad 2 which means we're no where close.

[QUOTE=globalhemp]iPhone to "borrow" from Disney Mobile's (http://disneymobile.go.com/) GPS Enabled Family Locator(TM)
Yeah and Disney is shut down the service after 8 months with little or no interest in the service. And is going to cost them $30 million to shut it down and as Disney and Apple sharehold it think it is a bad business model to be in.
You must be kidding. I first saw a commercial for this just yesterday during the baseball playoff. It seemed like a pretty cool thing to me. I hadn't heard about it before then, though...

I've never understood the argument against the Air because of it's lack of DVD drive. I have no idea when the last time was I used mine, and it takes up a massive amount of space and weight on my MacBook.

Just create an unlocked iPhone and give every consumer choice. I thought apple is concerned with the users experience. I can't stand the BS in the whole unlocking/jailbreak experience. Apple just mandate that all phones are to be factory unlocked and quite bowing down to big cell companies.

Bloatware, unusable since like what, version 3? 4?
Isn't this exactly what we said when they killed IE. And we were right then too!

Taiwan is not mainland China. Totally different labor situation and standard of living. They need to go to their local government and resolve it that way. Apple is a customer of this factory and has no control or responsibility for this factory. It's sad to see workers sickened but they need to seek help elsewhere.

I bought my 13-inch MBA back in the winter and it's the best notebook I have ever used.
I say it's a notebook because it doesn't feel like a netbook. It's got a big trackpad, a full-size keyboard, a gorgeous high-DPI display, it's super thin. And it runs Logic Express smooth as silk. A netbook can't do those things.

The ipod is dying. The touch is the only one which will survive the longest. People these days just like touch screens with features packed to the rafters and the classic, nano and shuffle are falling by the wayside.
Agreed, but the latest nano is pretty poor, was surprised, seems very unapple-like. There is room for a good ultra portable small music player (gyms etc, I see so many ipods) and for them to please, please make a good quality headphone as standard, the ones that come with ipods (of any price) is pathetic. So, let's see what they do.

If you've see the keynote stream, then you'll of come across the part where Steve asked some of his employees (marketing, engineer etc..) to stand up and receive a round of applause.
I thought this was quite a nice gesture and it's the first time I have seen this from them.
Good things!! :claps:

Looks like they finally got the message. Next step: they need to get the message that people (overall) dislike their awful phones, and that in the end they were trying to rip off of Apple's success on both accounts.

Well duh. Lower price plus a massive update will generally outsell what it did a year prior.
Time will tell how the iPad erodes these numbers in 2012.

Ah, but YOU'RE missing the point completely. As resolutions inscrease the interface can scale up because it is resolution independent in 10.5. Web pages are NOT resolution independent for the most part.
Fear not sir, the WebKit team is already working on resolution independence. I'm pretty sure that some of the web specifications are being upgraded to provide resolution scalability as well. (For instance providing a choice between two resolutions for the same image on the page.) Alas, the web is such a clusterf* of randomly assorted technologies, most of which were never intended to scale to hi-res displays, so I expect the transition to be long and painful, but I trust that the Web Kit team will come up with clever ways to carefully scale up the content.

Does your roommate use the same computer? Some DVD drives do not like certain dvd's. I've always used verbatim and have had no problems.

I am using maxell , I heard verbatim are the best but I dont want to waste the money when I am not able to burn them myself .

Interesting indeed, I would love for the two companies to be in bed together... Interesting things for consumers might result. I see T-Mobile as a fresh alternative to Cingular... Plus, T-Mobile could use better designed phones, who better to hook them up with some Innovative ideas?;)
Peace

If you just want a PPC to play with, get a powermac, they are very cheap. In my opinion, G4 laptops are way over priced, unless you get lucky, like I did with my iBook. I also bought a Powermac 933 mgz Quicksilver, with Leopard installed for only $50.
That was a steal

Hi. I need some help with a malfunctioning color stylewriter 2500. Whenever I try to make a test page, it just passes through the printer without printing anything. I've already replaced the ink cartridges. Any ideas?

Concur. Never once saw a Zune.
I get the sense MS is scrambling to catch up. They are a software company, and Apple is a hardware & software company (and I'll concede in many cases hardware = gadgets). However, they are all driven by a few streams of software which they continue to improve upon.
I wouldn't say scrambling, a company the size of Microsoft can't scramble if it tried. What is happening, though, is that after 10 years of focusing on the Enterprise, Microsoft is turning its eye back to the consumer space and is realigning its strategy.
