gee wiz apple... 1 whole year? frick, and i just bought the logitech wireless desktop...
I have a Logitech Wireless MX 1000, and I love it, and wouldn't trade it for the world, and especially wouldn't trade it for a wireless Mighty Mouse.
A USB Mighty Mouse came with my G5, and I just stick it in my laptop case so I can have a backup mouse so i don't have to use the trackpad when I travel. I figure that's about all its good for when you have a really high-quality mouse like the MX 1000 laying around :-)

I rather have a consistant look an feel or if not then allowing for all Applications to have this which personally I rather not, give me boring but functional look.
Ripped paper ROFL like I will think its real on a laptop or a 27 inch monitor.

Those iPhones in the photo are the exact same size, just a simple case of forced perspective. The White iPhone is tilted ever so slightly to give the illusion of increased size.

Also, just wanted to weigh in on the "big hands" thing - I'm a woman, born a woman, never any question about it, but my hands are as big as most men's, especially considering I'm only 5'4". So are you going to beat me up just in case I'm a man?
I'll just put this out there: People who freak you out are not necessarily a threat to you, no matter how much they freak you out. And just because someone's sexual/gender preferences are outside your definition of normal does NOT mean that they're a frigging pedophile. That is such a leap in logic it's making my head spin. It's also really offensive. It's just as offensive as if I assumed that because of your race (whatever it is), you're more likely to molest MY child. That's not fair, is it? Doesn't make sense, does it? So you shouldn't make that assumption about a transgender person, either.
And don't give me any of this "race isn't a choice but gender is" BS. That's a common excuse and it's an incorrect assumption. Nobody would choose to live as a gender they didn't identify with if they didn't feel they needed to. If you've ever lived and struggled with something you were mortified to let anyone know, you'd have more sympathy for this transgendered woman. It must be nice to be you, but not everybody has it so great. Show a little empathy and don't automatically assume everyone is out to get you.
Oh, and using the "you don't have kids so you don't know" argument is the biggest load of ********* I can imagine. But it's nice to know that when I'm finally a parent, it means I can become an absolutely horrible human being. No better role model for a kid than a close-minded bigot, I always say.

Right, they were looking for a particular set of problems, specifically kernel bugs, which OSX and Linux have their fair share. Interestingly enough some of the wireless bugs affected more than one OS.
These are vulnerabilities, which obviously need to be addressed, but just because they found more kernel bugs in OSX, Linux, and BSD, doesn't mean Windows is suddenly 'secure.'

Is it easy for us to install an SSD by ourselves? (I'm not a geek)
I've been waiting for the new 27" to replace my 2006 iMac, but I don't really have a pressing need believe it or not. I already put a core2duo in it and a 2gb 7200 rpm HD in it...
In response to the other 2 posters, I'm waiting for the iFixit teardown to see how bad the upgrade would be, just to see which SSD's they are going to use, and how hard it would be to do the upgrade on my own. Another $600 on the 27" w/ i7 pushes the price to nearly 3000, a bit expensive these days for a desktop, even if it is an Apple.

Have you tried Urth Cafe? They have some pretty good stuff. I go there a few times a month.
Yeah, I've been to a few of their locations. I used to go to the one in Beverly Hills a lot. Good stuff. That place thinks it's so cool ever since they started using them for Entourage.;)
