If he wants to trade, ask for the computer and $250. The new 13" is considerably faster in benchmarks, has a pretty comparable GPU, better battery, etc. I'd just buy what you want and keep it

have you tried installing anything else? could be a bad or scratched dvd, but I would definitely make sure your software update is current

If you have spare $99 bugs, I'd say go for it.
Otherwise: NO.
That's the bottom line. You're dropping a c-note on a developer preview. If you want spend that much money to play around with go for it. In the past (except for SL) upgrades were costing around 125 so in theory you could save some money if apple follows that path. If they don't, you run the potential of over-paying for the OS

I just called. They said they will open at 9 everyday if they have iPad 2s until further notice. What time are you all going?

Maybe you don't know so much about color management.
Ever heard about 8-bit bottleneck?
DVI could use 16-bit colordepth (lsb on second link), but nobody uses that and there's not enough bandwidth with 2500x1600 resolution.
Displayport (or hdmi1.3) solves that problem without having expensive hardware LUTs in monitors (that ACDs currently does not have).
Oh really? Care to enlighten me then grand wizard. You show me sources that broadcast in the deep color realm (30,36,48-bit color depths), and THEN you show me the displays that support that color depth. Why do you think there is such a big argument amongst displays/component manufacturers on the merits of HDMI 1.3. If Anthem, the maker of my $6500 Statement D2 video processor, didn't feel it was necessary to add 1.3 support, then I think that's a pretty good indication of the progress of deep color support. HDMI is the same exact thing in terms of video transport as DVI - smaller connector, with a different pin mapping.

8-bit(24bit) is plenty, for a long time.
...and besides, this discussion was about DisplayPort and it's usefulness, when we already have HDMI. Maybe you don't know so much about topic discussion.

Do you remember USB 1.1? The USB 1.1 port and plug look like a USB 2.0 port and plug, but a USB 1.1 port/plug will not deliver USB 2.0 speeds when one connects a USB 2.0 device to a USB 1.1 interface.
The same goes for the MDP and TB interface.
While TB might look like MDP, they are not the same.

I have included a photo of my Chapter 9 Assignment. It is not due till next Monday since it is Spring Break but I want to do it before I forget.
1. The goal is to use Functions to solve the problems
2. I have to write my own Top Down Design
3. I have to sum a cube?
He wrote this on the board when he explained it.
sqrsum := a*a + b*b + c*c + d*d
The example on the paper use 10 10 10 20 and that returned 11000. But when I so 10*10 + 10*10 + 10*10 + 20*20 I come to a total of 700. I am not understanding this conversion?
the code he used on the board
function sqrsum (A,B,C,D : integer) : integer
begin

What about a reinstall?

Interfacelift seems to be a very popular site for backgrounds. Vladstudio is good but it doesn't really get updated very often; but I suppose Interfacelift has lots of different people's work on it.

There were several stories on that a while back. (http://www.google.com/search?client=safari&rls=en&q=google+dns+slow+apple+downloads&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8)Don't recall the outcome.
FWIW, I'm on OpenDNS and I just installed Tiger from scratch on 2 machines and downloads were very fast.

Lots of folks saying they've done it "successfully" here:

I have about 20 TB of photos. The biggest advice I can give you that others have stated is from the beginning organize your photos in a very logical manner and edit the meta-data to reflect what they are. This is very very important for when you get very large collections of photos.
Also unless you have a mac pro tower where you can put hard drives inside your best bet is an external for your pics.
With that many photos, do you 'phase out' HDD after a period or time? Meaning: lets say you have three 1 TB HDD filled with photos, do you replace drives before they fail? Then, how long have your HDD lasted without being used? Thanks for the information as it is "food for thought."

As mentioned, all I got was an NSException error in the message and the emulator crashing.
I'll consider what you said but have no idea what you mean by disrespecting people which is 100% not my intent.

I, as well, use Yahoo as my dummy account. I even use it with Mail.app. My suggestion is to configure you outgoing mail server to that of your ISP if it isn't working. I know Semo.net and Cox both have this problem of STMP outgoing mail. I have to use "mail.semo.net" for me to send my mail. But it works.

the zune is nice...when it works. that was the biggest problem with it. compatibility issues with it and windows. there was a period when the original one was incompatibe with vista. you would think that division of one company would talk to each other now and again.

figure out how to change the apps that were labeled wrong... I was doing something pretty dumb.
Still would like to know how to assign image to an app that wasn't part of the original theme. Thanks.

No idea what your talking about, on tinyumbrella it just says
iPad23G 4.3 (8F191)
I tried the iPad2,2 4.3
but when I do a restore I get Error 1013.
They say it's normal, but when I try to kick it out of recovery, it is stuck in the recovery loop.
Any ideas?
Try iPad 2.3.

Robb, you want 184 pin instead of 200 pin.
I believe 200 pin is for Powerbooks.
Here is a Newegg link to show you which ones should work. 2700 instead of 3200, so focus upon those. I do not know if 3200 is compatible or not.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=100007968+600032301&QksAutoSuggestion=&ShowDeactivatedMark=False&Configurator=&IsNodeId=1&Subcategory=551&description=&Ntk=&CFG=&SpeTabStoreType=&srchInDesc=
It is compatible with 3200. I just looked at one of the sticks of RAM and PC3200 is listed on the stick.
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, sir.
Have a good day.

You've got my vote!
Your proposed graphic is definitely my favorite avatar I've seen on the entire Forum! (Uh-oh, mistake: I've just insulted all the judges ) Would make me laugh aloud & feel good every time I'd see it, I'm sure . . . Hope you get to keep it . . . I just wish I'd thought of it first . . .
Wasn't there a State that was giving away a Mozart CD to every newborn (to make them smarter?) a while ago? I wish it was a copy of "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" DVD set instead!
