Since cell Phones in general are becomming more powerful, why is this a surprise? Everyone has a cell phone now. Why carry around another device just to play games?

@Coleman2010 Nahh... just created this email address now. It forwards to my regular gmail. Had I worked for Cablevision, I'm sure I would have found an easier way to do this :)

As long as you used your google account to save your contacts and calendar info you'll be fine. Once you link your google accept to your iPhone it will pull all the info to the device. I recently switched from a android device to a vzw iPhone 4 transition was smooth and painless.

i suspect we'll see leopard released in january.
Not unless January is in the Spring, which is when Apple has officially said Leopard will be released.

I have been reading the last few posts about saving the 4.3.1 SHSH Blobs "before its too late" and I couldn't understand how it could ever be too late, after all, how can my iPad get updated with anything unless its connected to iTunes.
I looked at TinyUmbrella and it looks likes this only applies to 3G iPads.. Could someone confirm if this is the case? And if not, what I (as a non-3G iPad 2 owner) needs to do now..
Currently I am on 4.3 and am waiting for a working Jailbreak before I do anything else regarding firmware.

Shipping times have slipped to 2-3 weeks. Looks like I'm gonna have to find a line somewhere today then for sure!
I'll buy you one for a price plus the price of the iPad. PM if interested.

Doesnt work.
People that used the latest PdaNet still got the notice.
That doesn't mean it doesn't work, those people could have been using MyWi or TetherMe before switching to PdaNet. Granted, I don't think the method PdaNet uses helps at all.

I'm guessing you are hearing the mirror flip not the shutter. Also be advised the way the shutter works is it doesn't fully open when you get above (I believe 1/200th) but it just opens a slit. This is why when you force the camera to go above a certain shutter speed and use a flash you get these black bars, those are the shutter curtains.
I hope that made sense. I know what I'm trying to say but I've been up for about 36 hours so it may not have come out right.

Isn't this illegal? I mean they probably need to hack into Apple's database to add the IMEIs in question, which is pretty illegal.
yeah, just what I was thinking. The whole 'accessing Apple's database' seems pretty illegal to me. I don't see how they can get away with that no matter how you look at it.

so. i have just moved all my photos into aperture and cleaned up the mess i had. now my question is. Where does aperture leave your photos? does it use reference files? or does it make copies? Is it safe to delete photo's from my main harddisc without screwing my photo organisation up?
cheers!

But, so this business of using a new frequency is interesting. It seems quite a gamble, especially since it's just T-Mobile and apparently even just T-Mo North America. One replier above stated that these new phones will be based on WiMax. This seems suspect, because WiMax, as far as I know, only goes down to 2 GHz, and one of the frequencies T-Mo is spending so much money on is 1.7.... I wonder what the deep meaning of leaving the GSM frequency is going to be.....
There is no such thing as a "GSM frequency." GSM is a technology, how that technology is implemented is a different story. You can currently find GSm on four bands; 850, 900, 1800 and 1900MHz. Adding it to the a fifth is not hard. The hard part will be finding a coompany to make a chipset and a phone manufacturer to use it. What T-Mo bought was for use for 3G/4G data plans. They still run into the issue of phone manufacturers and implementing a chipset just for them.

I think a hard case would have higher protection.
i had a hard case before and my ipod fell from my loft bed (not even close to 2 metres), and fell apart and my ipod was dead.

I am with everyone else who is saying that 10.5 will come out in January with Vista. It would make more sense.
I am surprisingly not upset about the upgrades that came out today (i bought a macbook 2 months ago) I am in love with my machine and cant wait to save up some cash and buy an Imac with the Santa Rosa chip.

Does this mean the iPad 2 is more popular than the Galaxy tab in Korea?
