It's not me it's the dying man that makes the OS comparisons at every keynote. Well actually he only did when iOS was in a leading position...
The last Android vs. iOS comparison he made was something like: "We have 350k apps!". Well Android now has about 325k apps and grows by about 35k apps per month. I guess that comparison won't make it into his June keynote....
at least dont call him that ffs...

Well in case you haven't noticed, Kanye West's performance has been removed from the webcast version of Apple Music Event.
LOL...I was wondering why it ended so abruptly. I can't say I couldn't see this coming

Your action maps to selector doneAction: and not to the method body you posted for doneButton:
Is the exception that your target does not respond to the selector?

this is a new app ,anyone can give some advices?
Description
This app is an advanced software that make you can extract images from a video. It will be a necessary tool for any video editors, movie fans and video analyst. Many video formats can be supported by this app, such as mov,avi,mp4,mpeg,m4v,3gp,3g2,m4v etc.
You can use this app in two ways:
One is to extract one image at a certain time.
Another way is to extract a series of images from the video. If you use the second way, you can choose start time and end time on the movie player.
And a slider can help you to set time gap. Small value can produce more frames, but large value will be helpful when you choose a large duration.
Images are saved in .png format since it is the best image format in mac. The image size will equal to your video image's true size.
In a word, It has complex functions but is very easy to use. Not only video expert will like it, but also common people.

But in all honesty I haven't seen a game yet on iOS that really blew me away, so as far as gaming goes I think getting a console is the better choice..
I don't think anyone thinks a portable game is as good as a console. What this thread is about is the dedicated portable game market getting eaten by the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch devices.
A console is no good to you on a train or while waiting in an airport.

Whole disk encryption and ssd's do not match. Ssd's will become a lot slower when you fill them which is exactly what whole disk encryption does. Buying an ssd would be a waste of money, you're better off with a much cheaper hdd.
Eh, not entirely true in practice. I bit-locker by Windows drive on my laptop (SSD) and its still waaay faster then a traditional HDD.
There is also SafeGuard from Sophos that does full-disk on OSX.

I'm using an imagePickerController to replace my existing images inside my view. The function works within the same IB-file. However I'd like to load the chosen image in another IB-File as well. I think that the solution is to give a name to the image when saved. After it is saved I'd like to call the image (by name) from my memory within my other IB-file.
Here's a snippit of code I'm using within the photopicker IB-file

30 hours of 8mm movies. Lemme see...
30 hours times 8 mm divided by the Pacific Decadal Oscillation index, times the interocitor value ... I reckon you'll need about (http://www.digitalrebellion.com/webapps/video_calc.html) 329.59 GB in DV format.
If you need organising, take a look at something like iDive (http://www.aquafadas.com/en/idive-digital-video/index.php). Try the demo.
Any reason you want a NAS rather than directly attached storage?

So, now Zune software is gonna compete with Windows Phone 7?
I thought the same thing. They can't just pull the plug when they've poured so many millions into it; It's a bad idea, just cut your losses and move forward. Don't keep trying to keep a bad brand alive.
Granted, I am in a way sorry to see it go. That Zune HD really did look cool. I almost wanted to buy one. Almost.

It now redirects me to the local gizomodo.com.au version.
If I wanted to read about irrelevant local Australian stories (ie, Telstra has a new LED billboard in Melbourne, like I give a toss) I'd pick up a newpaper or visit gizmodo.com.au (which I never do), not gizmodo.com.
I really really hope this isn't the future of the internet - geographical restrictions, but it appears to be the tip of an oncoming iceberg. It's bad enough already that I now have to endure irrelevant geographical ads for Australian banks and airlines instead of topic-relevant (ie computer equipment) ads when I visit international computer sites. Now I cant even visit international computer sites?
Ditto when I do google searches now, most of the links are fairly useless local Australian ones instead of the more relevant international ones.
Is this the power of Google/advertisers now at work to change the face of the internet and rebuild borders to isolate us all again? ie, direct users to local geographical sites so as to maximize advertising dollars - ie instead of directing the ads, they are now directing the users?
PS. What happens when someone outside of Australia tries to load gizmodo.com.au, do they get diverted to their own country's site as well?

That would be great indeed! There's a Safari extension that does that, but it's terrrrribly bad and it doesn't really work either. Safari extensions are all cr*p.
Many are crap. :)
But that's a great idea OP (even if it's not yours - I don't know). Apple should implement this in Safari and I think it will.

Sorry for the delay. I did hook up the airport express and still it says that the ethernet is not plugged into the WAN port. I don't understand. I have had the cable company come out and they say the internet and modem are working fine. Am I to believe that the WAN port is not working on both my TC and AE, both going out at the same time? Any help is appreciated.

Protein: p1155_L939_K12M_298K_DT_250ps_clones
Run: 46 (Clone 203, Gen 0)
Frames Completed: 0, Remaining: 400
Dynamic steps required: 5000000
This work unit was choking the PowerMac G4, which was doing one frame per hour. It would take the Mac seventeen days to finish the unit. How does a G4 user tell the Folding server to not send TINKER units to G4 CPUs? Waiting three weeks for a result, when an x86 system could have the unit done in a few days, is inefficient.
"Seventeen days? Hey, man, I don't wanna rain on your parade, but we're not gonna last seventeen hours. Those things are gonna come in here just like they did before, and they're gonna come in here and they're gonna come in here and they're gonna kill us!" -Private Hudson
My computer was being VERY slow for a few frames one time. To the point where it said the WU would be done in APRIL OF NEXT YEAR. But after a day or two it went down to a reasonable time.

Maybe sell the parts (SSD an MBP) separately.
Mac2Sell (http://www.mac2sell.net), Gazelle (http://www.gazelle.com) or eBay (Việt Nam (http://chodientu.vn/ebay), Trkiye (http://www.gittigidiyor.com/), Česk republika (http://www.eim.ebay.cz/), Hanguk (http://www.auction.co.kr/default.html)) might be good price checkers.

Is the buzz on the 9th worth the crowds? I'm thinking just from a crowd perspective, no. Friday is also out-everything seems be coming down and packing up.
