If I can remember correctly it was expensive, something like $250 which is why I passed on it, Maple Ridge auctions had one also, similar price.
One went here in the UK not so long ago for about 75 but not in as nice a condition as yours.
Hey thanks a lot! Glad I saved it now.

I have a Nikon D3100, even at shutter speed of 1/200, it feels like the shutter is set at 1/8. I takes shots like it was set at 1/200 but the shutter seems slow and very loud.
What could be the issue?

Thanks for the reply Laird but think it's the keyboard at fault (just bought on ebay). With Keyboard Viewer open when I press the alt key the corresponding alt key on the viewer doesn't go grey as all the other keys do when pressed.

The US signed the treaty too.
Clinton signed Bush unsigned.
I think in 2017 wars of aggression will come under the treaty, something that would have seen both Bushes,Blair,Clinton and many others hauled in front of the court.

At the same time, more 'serious' games like Square's releases and the recent Death Rally, and many others seem to be doing well enough that people looking for that kind of content shouldn't be too worried. I just wouldn't expect, say, a full-blown Assassin's Creed or similar console game, because those are console games. I don't think nearly enough people want that kind of experience on a phone to justify the cost.
Well, be nice to have a portable version (doesn't have to be as deep or as many moves). You're right I don't need a full console version (or expect it cause I expect consoles to have more graphical ability and honestly, handhelds even with physical buttons are a compromise on good controls cause you still have to stick a display on your controller and can't shape it to be the ideal controller).
I have to admit I did enjoy Assassin's Creed on my iphone and mostly enjoyed Prince of Persia (Liked it better than AC but it has a huge flaw and I'm pretty sure the flaw has nothing to do with it being an iphone but the game itself, unless they allowed save points more often cause I think even if they implemented save points in certain areas that they didn't, it would at least make these parts of the game less annoying or at least dealable to get through to go back to the fun parts).
So even those games can be fun on the phone.

Great ad, could actually see it as a real Mac ad, though they would use all of their computers, but still, the MBP looks nice even blurred.

Definately not as intuitive as a scroll whell
I don't think the iPod is so intuitive. I think people have just gotten used to it. I remember when I first picked one up: Running my finger in a circle to go up and down seemed strange. Pressing the bottom button to go right in the menu system seemed plain unintuitive. This bevel system looks more intuitive to me, although I'm not sure it would be easier to use.

I do like otterbox, but I don't like the defender series - prefer the commuter. ANyway I've pre-ordered an invisibleshied with a coupon for $14.99 from zagg but now debating also getting a case =( hmm I really wanted to keep it as slim as possible.

I am receiving the same error on my iPad2. I tried switching networks (yes I have 2 running) and I immediately receive that error message. How annoying !
update: this does however work on my iPhone4 - over 3g. I wonder if it has anything to do with wifi vs 3g connections?

Recommending a particular mic for a singer is fraught with risk, as the human singing voice contains way too many variables to make this a simple choice. There is no guarantee a mic will be "the best" just because it's expensive or was used in some classic recordings. What's best for me probably won't be best for you, there's only one way to be sure and that's try a variety and see. Some find a cheap dynamic mic better for them than an expensive condenser.
If you're trying to avoid buying an audio interface by going usb, I wouldn't be heading straight for the top end of the market in microphones.

And so the Zune goes the way of the Kin. I think I saw one or two in the 5 years it's been out. What's this guy going to do now?? EDIT: Wow, weird timing that we both put up the same pic http://www.wired.com/images_blogs/gadgetlab/2009/09/zunefan.jpg

I appreciate arn's hard work, and think standard-compliance is great news.
I have to admit, though, that in terms of look-and-feel, I prefered the old design, due to its less-is-more approach and clean, minimalist design. Like others have stated, I, too, feel the new design is too dense and information-laden. I would prefer it if the new left column weren't there, for a cleaner, less cluttered look.
I also don't care too much about the dark brown color (this was there before, I know) and think grey might fit nicer with the blue hues on the site, but that's a personal preference.
I also don't see why the new tabs have to be pseudo 3-d. Sure, Apple is using their trademark aqua look for tabs on their website, but aside from them, many are going back from the 90s 3-d look to cleaner, contemporary 2-d, such as in the iPod campaign (I also don't get too excited about the tan tab color, but again, that's just me).
I hope I'm not sounding too negative here, as I overall very much appreciate the re-design efforts and important changes and think on balance it's a great job.

Please disregard the fact that I created an account on MacRumors out of desperation, or that you've probably heard of this before.
The situation is that I've had this First Generation iPod Touch. I've jailbroken it, it crashed once, I restored it, I used it until it crashed again. This time, I can't restore it.
1. I was reading around, (basically a post right before mine) and I found TinyUmbrella, as my iPod was stuck in the recovery state. I'm gonna see how it goes.
2. I don't remember too well, but before I tried fixing it, it was in the infinite Apple state.
3. I tried to do a regular restore. At this, I received: "unable to restore, unknown error code (6)".
-With this, I reinstalled iTunes.
-I tried to restore on a different computer.
-I switched USB ports.
-I restarted the computer.
-I turned off firewalls.
-I turned off AVG.
4. I entered DFU mode and I tried to do a regular restore. Same error code.
5. I downloaded some firmware and tried to do a restore. OS 1.1.4 gives me error code 1601.
-From time to time I get error code 1600.
-So I reinstalled iTunes.
6. I tried after reinstalling, same firmware version FOR the first generation, now I get Error 20.
-I've tried to fix, it doesn't work.
Uh, help? Appreciations to all.
Cheers.

I'm starting to think maybe my memory is faulty and I used the sled screws. Perhaps I should check tonight.

It will be enough for the applications, PS CS5 takes a bit more than 1GB, LR takes about 100MB away.
But depending on the resolution and format (RAW or other) you take your photos in, and the amount of photos you take, 64GB might not be enough, unless you plan to use an external FW800 or USB 2.0 HDD.
to best utilize the ssd the programs must be installed on the SSD as well as putting the pictures on the SSD? or can the pictures be put in an external HDD?

I wonder if apples hardware sales would start to drop if they were to announce that there will be no more work towards a jailbreak on future devices
nah, i dont think it would be that noticable.
i think about 10% jailbreaks (at least thats what i read a some time ago), and only a fraction of them again would not get an iDevice if it werent jailbroken.

Opened and closed for me as well.
But then again it is in alpha stage so I will give these guys a break. Awesome idea though as I am about to buy a nice TV and a Mac mini for this exact reason. So i will be watching this project closely. :D
